With the mild weather on the Central Coast, community concert series start well in the early spring, and even winter. 
We’re working on updating the list of concerts, the ones with * before the listing have not yet been updated or confirmed. Please check back later.

Arroyo Grande community band

Arroyo Grande’s Summer Concert Series in the Village

Every other Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m., the Arroyo Grande’s Summer Concert Series in the Village in the Heritage Square Park on the Rotary Bandstand from June through September.

​Enjoy free outdoor Sunday summer concerts with food, drinks and ice cream available. Bring your picnic baskets, lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a wide variety of musical presentations. There will also be a nonprofit raffle, food, drinks and free tours of historical buildings.

Atascadero Summer Concert Series

The city of Atascadero hosts Saturday in the Park concert series at Atascadero Lake Park on the Bandstand every Saturday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. from June through August.

Avila Beach Farmers’ Market has live music every Friday between 4 and 8 p.m. on the Avila Beach Promenade from April 6 through Sept. 28. No pets are allowed.

Ca’ Grevino Estates Summer Concerts, Orcutt

Ca’ Del Grevino Estates hosts summer concerts in its outdoor amphitheater on Fridays over the summer.
Tickets are $15 ($10 for club members) and parking is free. There will be different catering each night. Food and drink are sold separately.

Cambria Summer Nights in the Garden

Robin’s Restaurant hosts Summer Nights in the Garden June through August. The concerts are hosted 5:30-8:30 p.m. and are $3 each. Info for 2018 TBA.


Concerts on the Course at Blakelake, Nipomo

Blacklake Golf Resort, 1490 Golf Couse Lane in Nipomo, will have a free summer concert series on the course from 5 to 7:30 p.m., outdoors on the grass, featuring Chef Andy’s outdoor BBQ. Bring the lawn chairs, your appetite and your thirst. 

No outside food or beverage allowed. However, kids and dogs are allowed. The concerts are free to attend; however, tables with eight chairs are available for $20.

Pacific Breeze Concerts in Dinosaur Caves Park

The Pacific Breeze Concert Series will host a special Mother’s Day Concert on Sunday, May 13 to honor all of the Moms out there. All concerts take place on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Dinosaur Caves Park in Shell Beach. Paso Robles Concerts in the Park

The Paso Robles Concerts in the Park series offers free concerts to the public in Downtown City Park Thursday evenings through the summer from 6 to 8 p.m. from June 7 to Aug. 16.

​Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets for this staple summer occasion. Enjoy the sounds of country, blues, rock, and other genres from local bands. Wine available for purchase onsite from J. Lohr., and proceeds benefit the REC Foundation.

Pomar Junction Vineyard & Winery in Templeton hosts Train Wreck concerts two Fridays a month from 5:30 p.m. to sunset. Wines available to purchase by the bottle or glass. Food available for purchase or bring your own food to cook on the community grill. No outside alcohol or pets allowed. The cost is $15/person, free for Parlour Club Members and children ages 6 and younger.

Riverstar Vineyard in San Miguel wil host free family-friendly summer concerts once a month on Friday June through September from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the outside lawn area. SLO Concerts in the Plaza

San Luis Obispo Concerts in the Plaza

The 23nd annual concert season in Mission Plaza in San Luis Obispo will kick off on Friday, June 9. Concerts will be held every Friday through Sept. 8. All concerts are free to the public and run weekly from 5 to 8 p.m. Attendees are asked to honor the new City ordinance passed on March 1 that prohibits single use cups, straws and plastic bottles on city property, including Mission Plaza. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own reusable cups to the event, or purchase a commemorative Concerts in the Plaza pint for $10.

Templeton Concerts in the Park

Templeton Concerts in the Park

Templeton’s popular summer concert series will take place Wednesday, June 6 through Aug. 22 (no concert on July 4). The concerts are held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. — 6 to 8 p.m. for concerts happening in August — in Templeton Community Park. Local food vendors will be set up during the concerts, though attendees may bring their own picnics and beverages, including alcohol, along with low-back chairs, blankets and small tables. Dogs and smoking are not allowed during the concert. While alcohol is allowed in the park, no glass is preferred for the safety of everyone in attendance. For more information, call 805-434-4909.

Templeton Tennis Ranch will host a summer concert series June through September on the third Thursday of the month presented by Song Writers at Play from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $17.50 each. Admission for Templeton Tennis Ranch members is $10 each.
